Is there an age requirement?
There is no minimum age requirement for participating.
Is there a fundraising minimum?
No, runners are not required to set up a personal fundraising page to participate in the Race to Wrigley 5K Charity Run, however, personal fundraising can make a significant impact.
Can I register someone else for the race?
Yes, parents and legal guardians can register their child(ren) for the race.
How do I pick up my shirt and bib?
Runners can pick up their race packet, which includes their T-shirt and bib, at packet pickup locations. Virtual runners will receive their race packet in the mail.
Where do runners get their timing device?
Only in-person participants will be chipped timed and will receive their bib at packet pickup. Virtual runners can track their time on their personal tracking app or smart device.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Only credit cards are accepted online.
I chose the wrong shirt size, how do I update to the correct size?
Log into your RunSignUp account. Find the Race to Wrigley in your list of "Upcoming Events" and click on Manage Registration. Then, locate the "Giveaway" or "T-Shirt" menu item and update your shirt size within that section. Save your changes and you will be set! Please note, all shirt size changes are accommodated based on the inventory available, if your preferred shirt size is not available, you will not be able to choose that size. The deadline to make changes to your shirt size is Friday, September 19, 2025.
How can I find a runner's personal fundraising webpage?

I finished my virtual run. What do I do now?
More information on how to log your results will be emailed to all virtual runners.
Do I have to run the 5K?
No, participants do not need to run the 5K. Runners and walkers of all skill levels are welcome to participate, however participants must maintain the course pace per mile time and be capable of finishing the event within the course time limit.
What is the course time limit?
Participants must be capable of maintaing a 20:00 min/mile pace for the 5K Run/Walk, completing the full event distance, start line to finish line, within the event time requirement of 1 hour and 2 minutes (h:mm:ss/1:02:00).
Participants who are unable to maintain the required course pace per mile may not be able to gain access to the on-field portion of the race course (inside Wrigley Field).
Participants who finish outside of the time requirement may not receive full on-course support from aid stations and traffic safety personnel.

Where can I pick up my race packet?
Packet pickup dates, times and locations will be announced in the following weeks.
Can I have my packet mailed?
Yes, if you are unable to make packet pickup, you may select to have your packet mailed for $20. Your packet will include your race shirt, bib, and race materials. If you opt for packet mailing, there is no requirement to attend packet pickup.
*Optional packet mailing for the in-person event is available through 9/2/25 11:59PM. Packet mailing is currently available only for addresses within the United States. Packet mailing is per registrant, not per order. If you already registered and want to add packet mailing (only available through 9/2/25 11:59PM), log in to your RunSignUp account and go to registrations in the menu on the left.
Can someone else pick up my race packet?
Yes, if you are unable to pick up your packet, a friend or family member can pick up for you. Please ensure they have your confirmation email or a picture of your photo ID (a picture of your photo ID on their phone works great!)
Are strollers allowed?
Yes, strollers are allowed, we just ask that you start in the last corral (even if assigned a different corral) for your safety and the safety of your stroller passenger. All stroller passengers must be fully strapped into and remain in the stroller for the duration of the event. Note: Only registered runners with a bib will receive a medal at the finish line.
Are dogs/animals allowed?
For the safety of your furry friend and in keeping with rules and regulations for Wrigley Field, dogs/animals are not allowed on the event course, except service animals as defined by federal law.
Is my registration fee tax deductible?
Unfortunately no portion of the registration fee is tax deductible.
Can I volunteer for the event?
