The greatest donation you can make is the gift of your time. Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the annual Palm Beach Race of Hope! Every year, this special race draws over 100 volunteers, supporting over 1,100 runners and walkers. The race is only possible thanks to the generous assistance of our volunteers. 

Please note: Children under the age of 18 are welcome to volunteer but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Volunteers are not able to run or walk in the race. 

Race day assignments may include: Course or finish line water stations, cheer sections along race route and finish line, Bradley Park greeters (a participant favorite), unpacking/hanging finisher medals, Cheer Gear or Refreshment tents set up. 

All volunteers receive a race packet with Race Crew shirt. A badge is also provided with important emergency contact information and Volunteer Handbook accessible via QR code. Water and light refreshments are provided. 

Volunteering is a commitment. Please only sign up to volunteer if you are sure you will be able to attend.

RACE DAY TIMELINE

6:00AM - Volunteers arrive, receive assignments, and race gear

6:20AM - All Volunteers and Staff report to assigned stations

6:30AM - Race participants begin arriving

8:00AM - Race Start

9:15AM - Awards Ceremony

10:00AM - Site breakdown / cleanup begins

11:30AM - Cleanup complete, event concludes

The Race of Hope has a strict "Leave No Trace" policy, acting as a responsible steward of the public property entrusted to us for this event. Volunteers assist in searching Bradley Park for litter before departing.
