Transfers
RACE REGISTRATION TRANSFERS:
The Rocky Canyon Sail Toads understand that stuff happens and you may not be able participate in the Race after you registered.
If you are unable to participate in the Race, you may transfer your Race entry to another person. It is up to the registered participant to find their own alternate participant, and arrange and negotiate their transfer prior to, or at Packet Pickup.
If you purchase a Race entry from someone else, the Race Number MUST be transferred into your name to ensure the accuracy of the Race results.
There are two ways you can transfer your Race entry to another person:
1. ONLINE - Transfer Fee $10.00 plus online fees - Available February 21 to April 17, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.

Original registrant receives full refund through RunSignUp (minus original processing fee).

New registrant pays original registration cost plus $10.00 + online transfer fee.
To transfer your entry online, you will need the name and email address of the person you are transferring your Race Number to. You will login to your runsignup.com account and go to manage my registration. Click on link to Start a Participant Transfer and enter the other person's information. Please see the .pdf below for further instructions on how to access your runsignup.com profile and transfer your entry online to another person.
Online is our preferred method of transfer. Using the online transfer process will allow you to transfer your Race Number to any email address you choose. Upon completion of the transfer, you will receive a full refund (minus original processing fee) of your registration.
This money transfer process is done automatically through RunSignUp.com. We strongly encourage you to use this process as it saves us resources and provides a better experience for everyone.
Changes to names on the Race Number or sizes for shirts will be available to those who transfer entries before March 15, 2024. Participants who have a Race entry that was transferred online after March 15, 2024, will get the shirt size of the original purchaser and will get a new Race Number without a custom name issued at Packet Pickup.
2. IN PERSON at Packet Pickup- Available on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 only.
If you transfer your entry at Packet Pickup you will receive the original registrant's shirt size. You will have the ability to potentially trade this shirt for a different size at the trading area at the Finish line.
If you want to transfer your entry at Packet Pickup. It will still be an online process. The Seller will still be responsible for finding the buyer. The Seller or the Trouble Table team will start the process to transfer to the buyer. The buyer must be present to accept the transfer, register and pay with a credit card the registration fee of the 2024 enter fee, the $10.00 transfer fee, and the online transaction fee. At that point we will issue the participant a new Race Number.
THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO RACE DAY TRANSFERS!
If you completed your transfer after March 15, you have not been assigned a new Race Number. Please come to the Trouble Table at Packet Pickup to be assigned and receive your Race Number.
