A "Ruck" is a common activity in the military where a soldier marches with a backpack on, typically holding all the gear they will need to live out of in the field. This can be done as either a run or a walk. For R4TW's Ruck, we are encouraging giving back to the community by filling up a backpack with canned goods and rucking a 5K. All canned goods will be donated to the Community Harvest Food Bank. Sign up for this 5K Ruck and see if you can ruck like a real soldier!

For individuals with permanent physical and/or visual impairments.

Individuals with Physical Disabilities: 
Individuals with a permanent physical disability that precludes them from participating at a high level with their peers in non adaptive programs. Amputation/limb loss, spinal cord injury, spina bifida, leg length discrepancy, permanent joint disorders, cerebral palsy/brain injury/stroke and other orthopedic and locomotor disabilities are just a few of the examples.  

Individuals with Visual Impairments: 
Individuals who have vision that's not correctable through glasses, contacts, etc. are encouraged to signed up under the "Adaptive Division".

After the race, your child ages 3-8 is invited to participate in the free Training Trot. If you would like your child to participate please sign up each participating child using this option.

If you don't want to share your lunch, please purchase a extra lunch for your child/children using the Lunch w/the Warrior option ($10.00 each).

Events and displays on the race site are open to you as you encourage runners and enjoy the DJ!

NOTE: If you are signing up for the 5K in any category other than the Training Trot or 5k Virtual, your lunch is already included in that fee.

Thank you for choosing to support the Race 4 The Warrior virtually. If you register by 5/1/26 you will receive a race day t-shirt. It will be mailed to you, but due to our ordering schedule you will receive it after race day.
