Acknowledgment of Waiver and Release for Underground Runner Events

As a condition of my participation in any Underground Runner event or experience (the "Event"), I agree to the following terms:

1. Affirmation of Physical Readiness

I confirm that I am physically able and medically cleared to participate in the Event's activities. I have not been advised otherwise by a medical professional.

2. Medical Treatment Authorization

In the event of an injury or medical emergency, I authorize attending medical personnel to administer necessary treatment and make decisions on my behalf if I am unable to do so. This includes the execution of any required medical documents.

3. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participating in the Event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, permanent disability, dismemberment, or death. These risks may result from my actions, the actions or negligence of others, environmental conditions, or unforeseen factors. I knowingly assume all such risks, including risks related to Event courses, public road crossings, weather, high altitude, fatigue, and other competitors. I accept full responsibility for any injury, damage, or loss incurred during or in connection with the Event, and I release Underground Runner and its representatives from liability for claims, injuries, or losses caused by negligence or otherwise.

4. Responsibility for Safety and Equipment

I commit to inspecting the Event facilities and my own equipment. If I observe any unsafe conditions, I will notify Event organizers and abstain from participating until the issue is resolved.

5. Event Cancellation

If the Event is canceled, Underground Runner is not obligated to issue a refund. Underground Runner is not responsible for costs associated with travel, lodging, or other expenses related to a cancellation.

6. Permission to Use Name and Likeness

I grant Underground Runner, its affiliates, subsidiaries, successors, and any authorized representatives, the irrevocable right to capture, use, and share my name, voice, likeness, and appearance in any format or medium for purposes of promoting the Event, future events, or related activities. I waive any rights to review or approve such materials and affirm that granting these rights does not infringe on any third-party claims. All media captured becomes the exclusive property of Underground Runner.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by the laws of Utah. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining terms will still apply.

8. Policy Amendments

Underground Runner reserves the right to amend or update its policies and terms at any time without notice. Participation in any Event constitutes acceptance of the latest terms.

9. Severability

If any part of this agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

Acknowledgment and Agreement

I confirm that I have read and fully understand this waiver and release. By signing below, I willingly agree to these terms, recognizing that I am relinquishing substantial legal rights.
