Race Cancelled Due to Cottonwood Fire
Due to the rapidly growing Cottonwood Fire in Beaver Canyon, local fire officials and law enforcement agencies have made the difficult decision to cancel this weekend’s event.
The safety of our runners, volunteers, spectators, emergency personnel, and local communities must always come first. With active fire activity in the area and emergency resources focused on protecting lives and property, there is simply no safe way to conduct the event this weekend.
We ask everyone to keep the affected communities, firefighters, and emergency personnel in their thoughts and prayers during this challenging time.
Event Description
Get ready for one of the fastest Half Marathon and 10K races you’ll ever run! The course winds past stunning mountain scenery to include lakes, forests, and wildlife all before finishing at the mouth of Beaver Canyon in beautiful Beaver Valley, Utah. No weaving through city street. This is a true downhill course built for speed!
🏔 Half Marathon: 2,370 ft elevation drop
🏃♂️ 10K: 760 ft elevation drop

Half Marathon Course
10K Course
Starting alongside the Beaver River, this scenic 10K features a 760 foot elevation drop over 6.2 miles. The course runs entirely down the canyon, finishing on a smooth downhill stretch- no running through town! With plenty of aid stations and a gentle downhill grade, this is the perfect race to push your pace and enjoy the beauty of Beaver Valley.
