Participation of any runner under the age of 12 is strongly recommended to comply with the following considerations below. Further information on participant eligibility can be found here.

They have previously run the distance they are about to experience on one or more occasions.
They will have an adult (must be a registered runner) companion to assist with transit in and away from the Relay Exchange Zones.
They will have an adult companion to assist with any transit on the relay shuttle system.
They will have an adult companion to assist with transit to and from the race start and finish areas if the child is to run the first or final leg of the relay event.
Allow the child to carry a cell phone on the course and utilize the RaceJoy runner tracking app to monitor the progress and mile-by-mile location of the child while on the course.
