Welcome to Memorial Day Weekend in Burlington, featuring the M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon & Relay, Relays Presented by Darn Tough Vermont, being held on Sunday, May 24, 2026, along with the M&T Bank Vermont City Two Mile and M&T Bank Mini Marathon being held on Saturday, May 23, 2026.
A flat, fast course that winds through Burlington and along Lake Champlain, the M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon is a community effort, recognizing all those who have had a hand in making the race a success since 1989. The race hits the best of Burlington including the Church Street Marketplace and Burlington Bike Path. The course is a double loop that starts and finishes in Waterfront Park.
