In consideration of you accepting this entry, I, the participant, intending to be legally bound do hereby waive and forever release any and all rights and claims for damages or injuries that I may have against the Event Director, RunSignup.com, and all of their agents assisting with the event, sponsors and their representatives, volunteers and employees for any and all injuries to me or my personal property. This release includes all injuries and/or damages suffered by me before, during or after the event. I recognize, intend and understand that this release is binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, or assignees.

I know that mountain biking in a trail race is a potentially hazardous activity, which could cause injury or death, and that participating in trail racing is inherently and obviously dangerous. These risks include serious physical or emotional injury, paralysis, death, damage to a participant and/or third parties, and damage to personal property of any or all such persons. I understand that such risks simply cannot be eliminated without jeopardizing the essential qualities of the activity, which I further agree is for recreational purposes and completely voluntary. I will not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained, and by my signature, I certify that I am medically able to perform this event, and am in good health, and I am properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to any aspect of my participation in this event, including the right of any official to deny or suspend my participation for any reason whatsoever. I attest that I am aware of the rules of this event and agree to abide by them. I assume all risks associated with riding in this event, including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the trail. I understand that any items on the course other than a mountain bike or electric mountain bike are not allowed in the race. 

Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of being allowed to enter the event, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Knob Creek Conservancy, Inc., the City of Hodgenville, all event sponsors, and their respective employees, agents, owners, officers, managers, shareholders, affiliates, volunteers, participants, successors, and all other persons or entities acting in any capacity on their respective or collective behalf from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons and entities named in this waiver. 

Further, I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use my photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose
