Reindeer Run 2025

VIRTUAL RACE: SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6-15

 

REGISTRATION

• Early Bird Registration is $35.00 through November 5

• Registration is $40.00 from November 6 through December 5

• Registration is $45.00 on Race Day, December 6

Race registration is nonrefundable.   

 

PACKET PICK-UP

• Thursday, December 4 | 10A - 7P | Community Center, 1777 S. Blanchard St., Wheaton

• Saturday, December 6 | 7:30 - 8:15A | DuPage County History Museum, 102 E. Wesley St. 

 

TIMING & RESULTS
Runners can scan the QR code on their race bib to access race results.  Race results will also be posted at wheatonparkdistrict.com.

 

AWARDS
Awards will be given to the overall finishers (chip time) as well as the top three finishers in each age category (chip time). The age categories are: 5-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & up. Winners will be notified after the race.  

Runners can find their time by scanning the QR code on their race bib and at www.wheatonparkdistrict.com/reindeerrun.

 

PARKING
Recommended parking at the parking garage just west of the Wesley and Hale intersection. The Wheaton Library has requested runners do not use their lot for parking based on the volume of visitors on Saturday mornings.

 

SPECTATORS
Spectators can watch participants at the start and finish lines and along the race route.  Spectators may not enter the course or interfere with the course.

 

AGE LIMIT
Kids and adults of all ages are encouraged to participate in this walk/run!

 

WAIVER
Every participant is required to sign/agree to the waiver when registering online. For those under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must sign/agree to the waiver.

 

INCLEMENT WEATHER
This race will happen rain, shine, or snow! The run committee monitors the weather and follows the proper protocol in place regarding inclement weather including but not limited to thunderstorms, tornadoes and heat. The run committee holds the right to cancel, alter, or postpone the event in the interest of runner, volunteer and staff safety. Registration is non-refundable.

 

Can we bring strollers? Pets? Skates? Bicycles?
Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome but must start the race from the back of the heat. When running with a stroller or wheelchair, please be conscious of the other runners in front of you who may stop suddenly. 

The following are prohibited on the course: pets, dogs, bicycles, in-line skates or other wheeled items. Service dogs must be approved 1 week before the race by emailing the Race Director at events@wheatonparks.org.
