Reindeer Run Volunteers

Course Marshal High Priority

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 40 more volunteers needed.

Details

Course marshals will cheer, direct racers to appropriate route and watch for cars to maintain a safe environment. Volunteers under age 16 will be paired with an adult.

Volunteer check-in for Course Marshals will be at 7A, followed by a short orientation. Course Marshals must be at their station along the course by 8A and it is recommended to have transportation to take you to your assigned location on the course. Volunteers will finish up at approximately 10A.

Water Station High Priority

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 5 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will pour water for runners and cheer them on as they race.

Volunteer check-in for Water Station volunteers will be at 7A, followed by a short orientation. Volunteers will finish up at approximately 10A.

**The water station may be located over 1 mile from the volunteer check-in location. Please only sign up for this location if you can walk this distance and back or will have access to a vehicle to drive to the location.

Post-Race Refreshments High Priority

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 5 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will help distribute post-race refreshments including water and snacks to runners after the race. Volunteers may also help distributing medals to runners at the finish line.

Volunteer check-in for Post-Race Refreshments volunteers will be at 7A, followed by a short orientation. Volunteers will finish up approximately 10A.

Information Booth High Priority

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will help direct runners and spectators to the check-in, start line, finish line, etc. and will provide general event information.

Volunteer check-in will be at 7A, followed by a short orientation. Volunteers will finish up at approximately 10A.

Gear Check High Priority

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will collect runner's gear for storage during the race and return after race is complete.

Volunteer check-in will be at 6:30A, followed by a short orientation. Volunteers will finish up at approximately 10A.

Start/Finish Line High Priority

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will assist with organizing runners into waves at the start line and will assist with keeping runners safe at the finish line. Volunteers will also help distribute medals to runners at the finish line.

Volunteer check-in for Start Line/Finish/Line volunteers will be at 7A, followed by a short orientation. Volunteers will finish up approximately 10A.

Race Day Registration/Check-In High Priority

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 9 more volunteers needed.

Details

Assist with race day check-in (bib assignment/t-shirt distribution), registration, and providing general information to runners as they arrive.

Volunteer check-in for this role will be at 6:30A, followed by a short orientation. Volunteers will finish up at approximately 10A.
