When is the Captains Breakfast? This kick-off event is on Thursday, February 6, 2025. This is a sit-down breakfast at Christ the King Parish from 7:30-9:00 am. Join us to learn everything you need to know about participating in Rock 'N Race as a team and raising funds for the HOPE Resource Center! Please register for this free event by February 2, 2025.
What time does Rock 'N Race start? The race starts on Wednesday May 7, 2025, at 6:00pm sharp! Pre-race ceremony begins on N State Street at 5:50 pm. We encourage Captains and Teams to arrive by 5:00 pm or earlier if you need to pick up and distribute your team packet containing bibs, shirts, etc.
What is the cost to register? Adults are $35 online per person up until March 1st for Early Bird registration. Adults are $40 online March 1 – May 2. Paper registration is $35 and children 14 and under are $15 per child.
Who receives a T-Shirt? The first 2,700 registrants receive a free event t-shirt.
I was a Team Captain in 2024. How do I "Bring Back my Team"?: After logging in, when registering online as individuals at rocknrace.org, Captains from last year will be asked if they want to “Bring Back Your Team”. If you click yes, your team will be established again and all members from last year will be automatically emailed and asked to join again this year.
Who do checks get made out to? Concord Hospital Trust. Please note your name/team name in the memo so we can appropriately credit your team.
For Participant's Safety: With more than 3,000 runners and walkers, Rock ‘N Race has become a meaningful community event. To ensure everyone’s safety and to adhere to USATF rules: No bikes, no roller blades, no skateboards, no headphones, no pets on the course.
Individuals pushing strollers can sign up either as a walker or runner. Please note that registrants signed up as runners should line up at the back of the runners on N. State Street and onto Park Street and those registered as walkers should line up on Capitol Street.
Where should I park? Parking is available at parking garages in downtown Concord and street parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Parking is NOT available on Capital or Park Streets or in front of the State House Plaza.
What is a "Rock Star" and how do I become one? Rock Stars are teams that raise $3,500 or more for this event. Rock Star teams will have the opportunity to take a professional team photo day of the event sponsored by Concord Orthopaedics. Rock Star Teams also receive a special award for their efforts at the next Captains Breakfast in 2025!
Add-ons? For an additional contribution, Rock'N Race swag can be ordered during registration and proceeds benefit Concord Hospital Payson Center for Cancer Care! You'll see add-on items on page 4 of registration. You can also purchase Add-ons after registration through your event profile under My Registration --> Add-On (on the sidebar menu). Rock 'N Race add-on's will be available soon!
Are individual participants rewarded for their fundraising efforts? Yes, individuals who raise $200 or greater are entered into a raffle to win a special prize. Raise $200 and 2 raffle tickets will be entered, with one raffle ticket entered for every additional $100 raised (for example, raise $500 and 5 raffle tickets will be entered, etc.)! Individuals raising $2,000 and above will and receive all of the above and a Top Fundraiser award at the Captains Breakfast 2025. Please note: Individual fundraiser totals are also counted towards team totals if they are a team member.
Other Fundraising Recognition: The first-place Fundraiser for the year (Team or Individual) will be recognized on a plaque at Concord Hospital Payson Center for Cancer Care.
What is a "Tribute Sign"? Deadline for a Tribute Sign is May 2! Choose "$25 Tribute Sign" on the Donation Page and a small tribute sign will be placed along the route on race day in honor or memory of your loved ones. Proceeds will benefit Concord Hospital Payson Center for Cancer Care. Be sure to select "other" and write your message for the Tribute Sign in the text box that appears!
Where do I pick up my T-Shirt and race info? The first 2,700 registrants get free Rock 'N Race T-shirts! You can get your shirts at PACKET PICK-UP, which takes place at Christ the King Parish on May 6, 9 AM - 5 PM OR on race day, May 7 at the State House from NOON until 5:30 pm. Look for the tent that says, “Packet Pick-Up”. It will be located near Capitol Street. Captains must pick up the packet for their entire team. If you are attached to a team: You must make arrangements to pick up your T-shirt and bib from your team captain by 5 pm on race day. If you registered as an individual: Pick up your T-shirt and bib number at the locations and times listed above.
How do we get special customized Team T-Shirts? In order to receive customized Team T-Shirts, completed online registration/registration forms and full payment must be received by deadline April 11, 2025 at 11:59 pm. Customized t-shirts for teams of 10 or more walkers and/or runners. Teams with less than 10 members are not eligible to receive customized team t-shirts. Individuals registering with a team after April 11th will not be eligible for the customized team t-shirts, but can still receive a shirt without the team name while supplies last.
Do runners get prizes? Yes, special prizes go to the top 3 men/women/nonbinary runners. Additionally, age group winners will receive prizes. Prizes will be given after the race at 6:40 pm on the State House Lawn at the Runner's Alley Tent.
