Straight Street
Straight Street seeks to provide loving wrap-around care to Roanoke youth and their families. Straight Street offers not only a drop in center for middle and high school youth on Saturday nights, but also counseling, support groups for young single mothers, mentoring for children with incarcerated parents, and chaplain services for the Corner Springs Juvenile Detention Program. Street Ransom
Straight Street’s sex trafficking ministry, Street Ransom, partners with local, state, and federal agencies to provide services to survivors and spread awareness within the Roanoke Valley. Street Ransom’s programming is informed by mental health, medical, and social service professionals so as to best meet the individual needs of trafficking victims. In addition, the staff at Street Ransom prioritizes the creation of a non-judgmental, safe, and loving atmosphere. To read more about Street Ransom, click here.
