Summer of Joy Virtual 5K
Join us for the Summer of Joy Virtual 5K to get a firsthand experience of how you can provide an interactive race experience for your virtual and hybrid events. This is a demo of RaceJoy's race anywhere capabilities and provides an audio overview of its key features.
Participation Options
Run or Walk the 5K!
Complete your 5K on Thursday any time between 5:30am to 11:30am EST. All registrants of the GiveSignup | RunSignup Virtual Symposium are automatically registered for the 5K. Download the app, access the Summer of Joy 5K and find your name. The app will provide real-time progress updates, an audio tour of RaceJoy's capabilities, and the ability to receive cheers from spectators. Plus, RaceJoy will automatically submit your finish time (manual entry is available as well on the results web page). Runners and walkers welcome - just make sure you click Start My Race in RaceJoy to begin your personal clock!
Spectate the 5K!
Prefer to sleep in or take it easy? No problem. You can still tap into the RaceJoy experience as a spectator by downloading the app and testing out the tracking and cheer-sending features for the runners out on their personal race courses.
