Registration Questions

Who can participate?

This run is for K-6th grade students enrolled in De Pere & West De Pere Public OR Private schools, and their "running buddies"! Running buddies can include parents, friends, older siblings, and more!

How many running buddies can my student have?

As many as would like to join us on race day! We do have a minimal requirement for some age groups

K-2nd graders MUST run the race with a 14+ aged running buddy.

Do I have to register to run with my student?

YES! ALL runners must be paid registrants who have completed the race waiver. Any non-registered participants without a bib will be asked to leave the course on race day.

What will my race entry fee include?

All registrants will receive a race t-shirt, custom race bib and timing needs, as well as after-race refreshments. Your race participation also allows us to support our charity, Hands Across De Pere, which reaches to families throughout the De Pere area to support their needs.

Training Questions

How do I train for this event?

Great Question! Check out our Training Run Guide for an example of an at-home running plan!

Will my student have opportunity to training at school?

Some schools will be providing after-school training runs in the weeks prior to race day. Please check with your school to see if this will be an option for your runner, and the days and times of the training, as they vary between schools.

NOTE: If your student is in K-1st grade and attends an (East) De Pere elementary school training run, they MUST be accompanied by an adult to attend training runs. Further, a signed waiver must be on file for participation for (East) De Pere students. This waiver will be made available to you through your school.
