You will be assigned to a water station along the route to setup (tables and water coolers provided), run, and teardown. You are MORE than welcome to decorate your station, have a theme, and have fun with it! We'd love to see school or DP themes!

Race Route Volunteer

Details

Assisting with designating points of the race route and standing on route during race to direct runners. Duties may also include general runner safety, such as directing students away from roadways/ground hazards.

Race Day Info Volunteer

Providing Race Day Info and Assistance

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

Acting as a race info resource by offering race guidance (start line location, start time, restroom locations, etc.) to runners prior to the start of the race.

Pre-Race Day Volunteer

Pre-Race T-shirt, Bib, & Race Day Supply Coordination

Details

Sorting and delivery of bibs and t-shirts to schools for dispersement to students and families as well as assisting in the delivery and/or pickup of race-day needs (ie - water, post-race snacks, medals, etc.)

Assisting timing company with timer dispersement and end of race collection of chips and timing results. Assist awards/medals volunteers with results posting and other needs.

Gathering timing results, designating runner award recipients, announcing category winners, dispersing medals, etc.
