Welcome to the Battle of the Run Clubs Team XC Challenge! And by run clubs, we mean Run Clubs, but we also mean run... "clubs".

Sign up with a group of friends, with family members, or even as an individual. You don't need a complete team to enter. If your friends don't quite get organized and your team ends up a little short, we'll combine mixed teams so everyone has a chance at a final score.

Individuals can enter as Free Agents and will be combined into mixed teams, or possibly a team of their own. It's a great way to meet local runners and make new friends. If you're entering as an individual, please choose the "Free Agent" team.

Running the 10 Mile, 10K or 5K and want to add the 1-mile obstacle course too? We'd love to have you give it a try! Use the contact form on this page to request a promo code that lets you add the obstacle course to your registration for FREE.

Prices increase after December 31, 2026. Current prices are shown when you click Sign Up.

Each runner chooses the distance that suits them best, and each race is scored equally:

• 1st place: 1 point
• 2nd place: 2 points
• 3rd place: 3 points
• 4th place: 4 points
• And so on...

Team scores consist of the top 4 placings, and the goal is the LOWEST overall team score. Additional runners don't add to the score, but they can help by bumping runners from other teams down in the rankings.

Teams may be all one gender running the same race, or any combination of distances and genders you choose. There's no limit to the number of racers from a single club: the more the merrier.

There's a tiny bit of strategy involved, as a "perfect" team score of 4 (four wins) actually requires multiple distances and genders.
