Parent/Player FAQ’s
1. When can we pick up and receive our merchandise and tickets?
Merchandise and tickets will be available for pickup at the Player/Coaches Meeting on January 5 at Northside Sports Gym.
If merch and tickets are not picked up at the meeting, there will be an opportunity to pick up orders during game week from the Alamodome, Tuesday, January 7 – Friday, January 10 from the San Antonio Sports offices from 9a.m. to 5p.m.
2. What if I can’t pick up my tickets and/or merch until gameday?
For gameday pickups, you will need to pickup your tickets from the Alamodome Box Office (parking is not free on gameday). Once you enter the building our merchandise stands near Sections 111 and 139 is where you can pickup any pre-ordered merchandise.
3. If we purchased tickets, can we also attend the All-American Bowl?
Yes, however when you receive your tickets, you will get two sets of tickets. The first set will be general admission tickets for the All-American Bowl in any section but the reserved section and then you will also receive Ticketmaster tickets that are for the All-Star Game only in reserved sections. You will not be able to sit in your specific Ticketmaster ticket seat until 4:30 p.m.
4. Can my pre-orders by shipped to me?
Unfortunately we do not offer shipping services for our orders.
5. When will my player(s) jersey presentation be aired on tv?
The airing schedule for all jersey presentations will be shared one week after Media Day.
6. Where will my player(s) jersey presentation be aired?
All presentations will be aired on either the News4/WOAI Sunday Sports Show or Maximum Sports Show weekly from late October through late December.
A link will be available to rewatch presentations if you miss watching them live each weekend.
7. Does my player get to keep his jersey?
Yes. We do ask for players to return their pants and belt after the game.
8. When will my player get his All-Star uniform?
At the Player/Coaches Meeting on January 5. Any players who do not attend the meeting will get their uniforms from the All-Star coaching staff during practice week.
9. What does my player need to bring at practice?
All players will need to provide and bring their own game equipment which includes but not limited to: uniform, pads, helmet, cleats, gloves, mouthpiece, etc.).
10. What does my player need for the Player/Coaches Meeting and team photo day?
He will need to bring his all-star uniform (jersey, pants, and belt), helmet and any other accessiores he would like in his photo (gloves, cleats, etc.) Also please provide a order number or last name if your player is picking up a pre-order.
11. Can parents order team and individual photos from photo day?
Yes. Each player will receive a photo order form in their uniform bags and parents can complete the form at the Player/Coaches Meeting and submit payment then or send money in the mail and place order online later in the week.
12. How is playing time determined?
At each coaching staffs discretion, they are directed to and will best divide all playing time equal among all positions. This will not be an exact play count division but head coaches will do their best to make it as even as possible.
13. Where does my player park on gameday?
If a player is transporting himself, they will ride the team shuttle exclusive for players and coaches only that will be running from Alamo Stadium and Departing at 1:45 p.m.
We strongly encourage this option as parking is limited at the Alamodome.
We will allow a player that is dropped off at Alamo Stadium for the shuttle to ride with their parents post-game if they’d like.
14. Will players be feed on gameday?
Yes. In addition to locker rooms full stocked with snacks and beverages, each player and coach will receive a post-game meal from Taco Cabana.
15. For adult spectators at the game, will beer be served?
Yes!
16. Is tailgating allowed at the Alamodome?
Unfortunately no.
17. How much is parking at the Alamodome?
Approximately $30 but subject to change
18. When does the shuttle return back to Alamo Stadium after the game?
The shuttle will make two trips after the game concludes at 9 p.m. and approximately 9:15 p.m. to return and players or coaches that parked at Alamo Stadium.
