Upcoming All-Star Dates
TEAM PHOTO DAY & PLAYERS/COACHES MEETING (MANDATORY)
Sunday, January 5 | Time: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM | Northside Gym (8400 N Loop 1604 E, San Antonio, TX 78249)
Players and their families will be invited to receive a final briefing before the start of All-Star Practice Week. All players MUST bring their football pads, helmet and other uniform accessories for team photos after the meeting. Players will also get to meet their All-Star Coaching staff’s, and receive their custom jerseys for the game. Families will also have the first exclusive opportunity to pickup pre-order merchandise and/or tickets and purchase any additional merchandise and tickets. San Antonio Sports will lead the presentation with week of details, practice, and gameday information for players and parents. There will be a special guest speaker to end the meeting. Once the meeting is finished, teams will meet with their coaching staff to review practice schedule and positional needs. After the meeting, team and individual photos will be conducted outside at Dub Farris stadium. Players will receive photo forms and parents can pay for photos on this day or mail/pay online.

GAME DAY
Saturday, January 11 | Alamodome | 5:00 PM
Bring your game equipment (uniform, pads, helmet, cleats, gloves, mouthpiece, etc.).
NOTE: More details to be communicated but parking for players, coaches, and staff will be at Alamo Stadium and shuttle transportation will be available from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Shuttle will also be operating post-game to return players and coaches to their vehicles at Alamo Stadium (approx. 9 p.m. departure).
Description
More than 115 players representing Bexar County and the seven surrounding counties are chosen to showcase the area’s top football talent for an all-star football game. Players are nominated through their varsity coaches, and selected by an all-star selection committee. The game features athletes committed to play for some of the top universities in the country, as well as players looking for an additional chance to impress college recruiters with potential scholarships to offer before National Signing Day.

All-Star Coaches
TEAM BLUE HEAD COACH
Coach Eddie Salas
Eddie Salas has been coaching high school athletics for 25 years. He has been the athletic coordinator and head football coach at Northside ISD’s Harlan High School since the school opened in 2017, with 6 playoff appearances in 6 seasons including 2 District Championships and a 53-18 record. In 2023, Salas was awarded the 2023 Texas High School Coaches Association Region 8 Head Football Coach of the Year. Before Harlan HS, Salas was the head football coach at Holmes HS improving the program record to a 15-year high. Salas also made coaching stops at Boerne Champion HS where he won the Lone Star Cup State Championship and Boerne High School where he the 2007 Softball State Championship. Prior coaching stops include Edison HS and Highland HS. Salas and his wife Abbey have been married for 21 years and have two daughters and a son, Mia, Ethan, and Ava.
TEAM WHITE HEAD COACH
Coach Nick Rogers
Nick Rogers is the first Head Football Coach and Athletic Coordinator at Pieper High School which is the newest high school in Comal ISD. Rogers came to PHS from Cedar Park High School in the Leander Independent School District where he was the offensive coordinator and quarterback coach from 2015-2020 seasons. He has taught physical education, health and AVID as well. During his 13 years of coaching, Rogers has helped lead his teams to a state championship title in 2015, six district championship titles and coached in another state championship game in 2020. Pieper has played two seasons against UIL competition in division 2 5a going 2-8 the first season and going 12-2 in year two with their first senior class. They won a district championship and made it to the quarterfinals in their second varsity season. Coach Rogers was named 5a coach of the year by the Padilla Poll this season as well. Coach Rogers has a family of 8, wife Cassie, Chandler 16, Creed, 15, Cohen 13, Collins 11, Landry 10, and Leighton 6.
Jersey Presentations & Interviews
Interviews will be aired every Sunday from late October through January 5, 2025. The majority of jersey presentation interview will occur during Media Day on Sunday, October 20 at the Alamodome. Media Day is mandatory for ALL PLAYERS and will be the only opportunity for All-star's to be presented their jerseys.
