Eight-week Training Plan for a 10k

This training plan is for beginners looking to participate in a 10k. 

 

Week 1

  • Tuesday( Run/Walk 2.5 Miles)

  • Thursday (Run/Walk for 2 miles)

  • Saturday (Run/Walk for 3 miles)

Week 2

  • Tuesday (Run/Walk 2.5 Miles)

  • Thursday (Run/Walk for 2 Miles)

  • Saturday (Run/Walk for 3 miles)

Week 3

  • Tuesday (Run/Walk for 2.5 Miles)

  • Thursday (Run/Walk for 2 Miles)

  • Saturday (Run/Walk for 4 Miles)

Week 4

  • Tuesday (Run/Walk for 3 Miles)

  • Thursday (Run/Walk for 2 Miles)

  • Saturday (Run/Walk for 4 miles)

Week 5

  • Tuesday (Run/Walk for 3 Miles)

  • Thursday (Run/Walk for 3 Miles)

  • Saturday (Run/Walk for 4.5 Miles)

Week 6

  • Tuesday (Run/Walk for 3 Miles)

  • Thursday (Run/Walk for 2 Miles)

  • Saturday (Run/Walk for 5 Miles)

Week 7

  • Tuesday (Run/Walk for 3 Miles)

  • Thursday (Run/Walk for 2 Miles)

  • Saturday (Run/Walk for 5.5 Miles)

Week 8

  • Tuesday (Run/Walk 3 Miles)

  • Thursday (Run/Walk 2 Miles)

Saturday/Sunday
