RACE #1 Details
PARKING
There is plenty of free parking in downtown Simpsonville. The parking lot at The Warehouse at Vaughn's is a good choice if you plan on having a "cold one" after the run.
CHECK IN
The check-in tent will be set up just south of the Ice Cream Station on Main Street. Look for the black tent surrounded by orange traffic cones. Check-in starts at 7pm.
START LINE
The start line is adjacent to the check-in tent. The race starts at 7:30pm.
2-MILE COURSE
The 2-mile course is out-and-back on the Main Street Trail. Very flat. Very Straight. Very Fast. The turnaround point is marked with white tape on the pavement, and traffic cones. Stay to the outside of the cones at the turnaround and don't cut corners or you will be disqualified.
FINISH LINE
The finish line is at the brick patio on the rail siding across the street from The Warehouse at Vaughn's.
RESTROOMS
Restrooms are at The Warehouse at Vaughn's.
BRING A TOWEL!
We will have a portable shower for you to rinse off after the run, so you won't have to walk around sweaty and sticky...Yay!
AWARDS
Awards will be posted online after the run. We will not have a formal awards ceremony.
