The reservoir offers some of the cleanest water around and features 65 to 70 degree water temperature this time of year. The course goes counter-clockwise around a tree-lined peninsula. Swimmers start in the water and swim counter-clockwise around a tree-lined peninsula. Keep buoys on the left. Exit using the boat ramp on the opposite side of the start.
