IMPORTANT CONSTRUCTION INFO FOR BOTH COURSES: Evanston St. (the Yellow marking on the map) is currently being repaved, and we do not know what state the street will be in on race day. While there shouldn’t be any construction vehicles present, we advise everyone to stay on the sidewalks/grass on that portion of the course.
1 Mile-ish Walkers: The course will go around the block (mimicking the student Halloween parade) and stay on the sidewalk the whole time.
5K Runners/Walkers: This is not a closed course. While certain intersections will be blocked off for the race, we will be sharing the road with cars. Stick to the right side of the road and be cognizant of car traffic, especially with little ones! We will have arrows marking turns – if you don’t see an arrow, KEEP GOING STRAIGHT!
Both Events: Be sure to grab your finisher medals as you cross the finish line!
