Volunteer Today!

Make a difference in your local community and register to volunteer for the Stay Out of the Sun Run 5K event. Our events would not be possible without our dedicated and passionate community volunteers.

TIME COMMITMENT:

• Arrive on-site: 3:30 PM CT
• Site Cleanup: 9:00 PM CT

DAY OF TASKS:

• General event day operations, including set-up and break-down.
• Event day check-in, registration and t-shirt distribution.
• Refresh and refuel tables, ensuring our participants stay energized and hydrated.
• Course Monitors, ensuring no one gets lost on the course and providing encouragement at the finish line.
• Water stop, handing out water on the course to keep participants hydrated and motivated.

VOLUNTEER COMMITMENT:

Please review the following Stay Out of the Sun Run volunteer event expectations.

• Arrive on time and stay for the full duration of the event unless previously communicated to the MRF team.
• Volunteers will receive training slides the week of the event. It is the volunteer's responsibility to review it at their own pace and before event day.

BENEFITS FOR VOLUNTEERING:

• Receive service hours or volunteer credits.
• All volunteers will receive a complimentary UPF50+ race shirt.
