Volunteer - Bag Check
RACE DETAILS: 8:45 5K START / 9:30 10K START / 9:35 WALK START
REPORT TIME: Please arrive by 7:15 AM
REPORT LOCATION: 301 Amsterdam Drive, Hillsborough (Amsterdam School)
EMERGENCY:
In the event of an emergency, please call 911.
Then call Courtney Newman @ 908-872-0217 as we have ambulances standing by.
DETAILS:
Bag check opens @ 7:30 AM, please be there by 7:15 so we are ready when participants arrive.
We don't anticipate bag check being super busy but it's still a nice offering for participants to quickly drop their stuff without running back to their car.
The participants bib will have a tag which they can pull off (see image below).
We will provide safety pins at your table for them to pin their tag onto their bag.
Please place the bags in numeric order (be sure to leave gaps in your layout) so they can be easily retrieved after the race.
We are handing out glass mugs this year so be mindful that the bags may contain glass.
In the event that the ground is wet, a tarp will be provided to place the bags on.
After the race, participants should only be given bags that match their bib number.
There is an early shift and a late shift. Those on the late shirt are welcome to leave when the bags or gone or the event has ended, and a staff member has come to collect the forgotten bags.
