PLEASE BE MINDFUL THAT AMSTERDAM DRIVE WILL CLOSE FOR THE START OF THE 5K AROUND 8:20 AM. 

ALSO - THE 5K IS FIRST THIS YEAR @ 8:45 AM, the 10K and WALK are @ 9:30 AM

 

RWJ Somerset Sports Physical Therapy and Performance Fitness will be offering stretching both pre-race and post-race.

Walgreens will be onsite offering “zero out of pocket” flu shots to participants and spectators.

Medicor Cardiology will be onsite for blood pressure checks.

We are so excited for your participation in the Steeplechase Distance Run / Walk. With our new theme this year, please know that you are invited to sport a run-ready lederhosen or dirndl to add to the festivities. We do have awards for the most festive participants! Registration prior to the event and on race day are all online.

Packet Pickup: 
Amsterdam School (301 Amsterdam Drive, Hillsborough)
Saturday, September 28th from 3 – 5 PM 
Sunday, September 29th starting at 7:30 AM

Yes, you can pick up other people's bibs just please let them know that you did.  

Virtual participants can pick up their race number during this time. Those who selected shipping will have their swag shipped. 

If you purchased a long sleeve shirt during registration, it will be provided at packet pickup. 

All participants in the 5K, 10K and 2 Mile Walk will receive a commemorative glass. All participants it the double will receive a copper mug.

Double 
1st, 2nd, 3rd overall (M/W/Non-Binary) 
Participants in the "double" will be eligible for overall and age group awards in the individual events. Please check the 5K results upon your return from the 10K so you don't miss picking up your medal. 

 

10K USATF Womens Masters Championship Prizes
(must be a member of USATF-NJ to win)
$125 / $75 / $50

 

Medals to all kids sprint participants.

 

Water Stops:
The 10K has two water stations at Mile 1 and Mile 4. The 5K and walk have one water station at Mile 1. Carrying your own water is strongly encouraged to reduce our environmental impact.

Food: 
A participant food tent is located near the finish line and will offer lots of free food for race participants. 

 

Directions:
From Route 206 southbound – turn left on Amwell Road. Proceed on Amwell Road for 2.5 miles to Amsterdam Drive; turn right onto Amsterdam Drive. Proceed 2 miles to the school on the right.

From Route 206 northbound – turn right on Amwell Road. Proceed on Amwell Road for 2.5 miles to Amsterdam Drive; turn right onto Amsterdam Drive. Proceed 2 miles to the school on the right.

 

Parking:
The race takes place in a residential neighborhood with plenty of free street parking. We recommend arriving early to avoid closures as they relate to the start of the first race at 8:45.

Please note that we do close the roads earlier than the start of the race to lay down timing mats. The first road closure will take place at 8:20 AM and is expected to open around 8:55.  Roads will close again at 9:10 AM and open at 9:45 AM. At all times, please drive cautiously.

 

Bag Check:
Yes, we have it. For security purposes, we ask that everyone utilize the bag check. Unattended bags will be brought to the attention of police on site.

 

Group Meeting: 
There is an open area to the left of the registration tents in which you may gather.  Team pop up tents are permitted in this area. Please be mindful of others.
