DETAILS:
Two of you - those with the best vision - will work with the timing company and be a backup for timing system. You will hold something that looks almost like the number pad of a keyboard, and you will enter the numbers on the bibs of runners as they cross the finish line.
The remaining volunteers will be responsible for keeping participants moving through the finish line. This prevents someone who just finished and stops from being run over by the next finisher who is sprinting through the line.
You can hand the participants a bottle of water upon finishing or direct them where to find them.
