Creating or Joining a Team
Teams make the SOS 5K even more fun and impactful. Whether you’re leading a group or joining friends, setting up a team is easy.
What Team Captains Need to Know
As a Team Captain, you’ll create your team, spread the word, and encourage others to register and fundraise alongside you.
Invite co-workers, family, friends, or your organization to join your team.
How Team Registration Works
Step 1: Register for the SOS 5K
Step 2: Choose to Create a Team or Join a Team during registration
Step 3: Complete payment and you’re officially part of the movement
For Team Captains
Register first, then select Create a Team at the bottom of the registration form. Choose your team name and share it so others can join you.
For Team Members
Click the registration link, select Join a Team at the bottom of the form, choose your team name from the list, and complete registration.
For Solo Runners & Walkers
If you’re participating on your own, simply click the Register button below, choose your registration tier, complete your payment, and you’re ready to go!
Registration Tiers
Run/Walk Basic Registration $25
Includes full access to the 5K event, festival activities, and celebration.
VIP Experience $300
Shirt, medal, breakfast, preferred seating, cooling towels, and chair massages.
$300 may be donated or earned through fundraising.
Virtual Walk $25
Participate from anywhere. Shirt and medal shipped.
Choose the option that fits you best and join a movement that brings hope and healing to foster youth.
Kids under 12 are FREE

$10 Tuesdays — Small Gift. Big Impact.
Every Tuesday, we invite you to support foster children, young adults, and families with a $10 gift. When we give together, even small donations create transformational impact.
• If 5 people give $10, that’s $50.
• If 10 people give $10, that’s $100.
• If 20 people give $10, that’s $200.
• If 50 people give $10, that’s $500.
More than 1,000 participants expected for 2026!
