Course Description & Map

Stevenson Falls Half Marathon Course offers amazing views of the San Joaquin River and Stevenson Creek Falls over 13.1 miles. The course travels along Million Dollar Road, which is owned and maintained by Southern California Edison. The single lane paved road is carved into the side of a large gorge 200' above the San Joaquin River. 5 aid stations will be spread along with water, sports drink, and GU Gels at the turnaround. The course is challenging with rolling hills and approximately 2000' of cumulative elevation gain. Runners must be able to finish within 3hours and 20 minutes, which is about a 15 minute per mile average pace. The road does not have a guardrail along the side of the road that looks down into the gorge, please do not hang off or over the side of the road. When approaching the waterfall please stay on the road and do not attempt to climb up on the rocks above or below the waterfall. A photographer will also be taking photos of runners near the waterfall. The Course is an out and back so please make room for runners who are on the return route.  Don't fall over the side while taking selfies!

Important: You must be able to complete the Full Distance (13.1 miles) in 3 hours & 20 mins or maintain a minimum average pace of 15 minutes per mile.
