Course Map

Below is the Ride & Tie course map.  Teams will start and finish at the Mason Creek Parking lot. There are 4 distinct segments, each about 5 miles long, and 3 transition areas.  Runners/riders will switch roles at each transition spot, with the runner becoming the rider and vice versa.

Staunton has a variety of parking areas, so you'll just have to find your spot and get to the Mason Creek lot for the start.  We are starting early (7 am) so their should be parking at the MC lot.

We highly recommend that you try to carpool if that is possible.  We are focusing our event on ways to improve our air, and the park charges $9.00/vehicle, so.....

We've changed the location of the first Aid Station, combining it with the 2nd Aid Station for logistical reasons.  Aid Stations 1 and 2 are now located at the intersection of Bugling Elk and Marmot Passage Trails.  The change lengthens segment 1 by about 1/2 mile, which is all downhill.  The change also shortens segment 2 by that same half mile.  Something to consider as you decide who does what when.
