In 2026 the Frederick Steeplechasers Running Club donated the net race proceeds in the amount of $14,068 to the Frederick chapter of Blessings In A Backpack. These funds are used by Blessings In A Backpack to send food home with schoolchildren who reside in food-insecure households.
