New Date: 6/19/2021
Hello Triathletes,
It is with great sadness we have made the decision to cancel the 2020 Old Hickory Lake Triathlon to be held on August 22, 2020. Covid-19 has presented many challenges for the endurance community. We did not feel, at this time, there was a clear path forward on conducting a safe and fun race experience. The endurance community is working hard to navigate these uncharted times to get us back racing as soon as possible. We are already looking forward to racing in 2021. Our race board will be working on a race date over the next several weeks and we will follow up with details soon.
Keep training and stay healthy. Triathlon is training for life not just for a race!
Sincerely,
Chris Hendon
Race Director

Join us for the Old Hickory Lake Sprint Triathlon on June 19, 2021. Presented by the Hendersonville Endurance Athletic Team (HEAT). The race will benefit the Salvus Center of Sumner County. Last year, this race raised over $5000 for the Salvus Center. Our race will feature a 400 meter rolling start swim in Old Hickory Lake, a 20k out-and-back bike course on a closed highway, and a two loop 5k run course in the park. The course will be beginner friendly, but still challenge the seasoned triathlete. The race location is different than last year. The event will take place at Rockland Recreation Area. Bring the family, as the park is very family friendly.
