Swim Course Support (Kayak / SUP)

Details

Need 6 kayak / SUP boards in the water to support athlete safety. Athletes are allowed to grab on to the kayak to pause and catch their breath. Your job is also to keep athletes on course who are veering off course by approaching them and communicating

At 6:40 hold up swim pace times to organize racers in pace order starting with fastest swimmers. Read race number to timing company to enter

Transition 1 opens at 6:20am. Support athletes as they setup pre-race. Will need min of 4 to work T1 during race.
1) Swim In - Direct athletes from the swim into T1
2) Bike Out - Remind athletes not to mount until mount line, ensure helmets are on & buckled

Help swimmers exit the swim safely up the ramp. Wear tennis shoes you don't mind getting wet or water shoes - something that is stable where you can grab swimmers arms to help them out

6. Top of ramp directing back down & slow to stay in coned lane
7. 1/2 way down ramp to remind to slow
8. Left turn from Nashville Pike to Music City Village
9. Left turn into FBC parking lot from Music City
