White Rock Lake Conservancy partners with the City of Dallas and its Park and Recreation Department to support implementation of the park’s master plan through major fundraising initiatives. The Celebration! White Rock events have helped fund the phases of the Stone Tables restoration project and signage all around the lake.
The event will go on, rain or shine!
This is an opportunity to run at White Rock Lake, a place that is a mecca for area runners and has been all but closed for races. The 10k race begins at 6:10pm, the 5k starts at 6:30pm and the post-race festival will begin at 7:00pm with a bounce house, live music and other activities for the whole family. Your run registration includes all food and non-alcoholic beverages and three post run beers. Food and drinks will be provided by local sponsors such as Blue Mesa Grill, El Vecino, Lakewood Brewing Co., Legal Draft, LifeAid Beverage, Oak Highlands Brewery, Humble Pies, Hypnotic Donuts, Hypnotic Emporium, Juice Bar Lakewood, Kona Ice, Mexico Lindo Taco Truck, Papa Murphy's Pizza, Reful, Slim Chickens, TCBY, The LOT, Unleavened, White Rock Alehouse, White Rock Que. Bring your ID. There will be a bag check inside the building at Winfrey Point.
Males and Females that finish in the top 3 of each age (segments of 10 years) group are honored with medals and the overall winners receive a Gift Card provided by a sponsor. Join in the ultimate block party at White Rock Lake and support the lake you love! All proceeds go directly to renovations at White Rock Lake Park.
Please allow plenty of time to get to Winfrey Point. Traffic is bad at this time of day! Park at Lake Pointe Church on Garland Road and ride the shuttle to Celebration White Rock. There will be a bag check inside the building at Winfrey Point.
*Race day registrations are not guaranteed a shirt, the first 1,000 runners will get a shirt. It's first come first serve at packet pick-up!
Packet pick place will occur at Athleta Turtle Creek, 3848 Oak Lawn Ave 75219 and Luke's Locker, 3046 Mockingbird Ln, Dallas, TX 75205
If you cannot get your packet the week of the race, you may also pick it up at Winfrey Point at 5:00pm but be sure to save time to drive, park, ride the shuttle and get your bib on before the race begins. *Shirts are given to the first 1,000 runners that get their packet, there are no guarantees that shirts will be available on race day.
If you purchased a Celebration Block Party only ticket you will receive free entry at the gate by giving the attendant your name.

Parking is available at Lake Pointe Church at 9150 Garland Rd, Dallas, TX 75218. A shuttle will run you from the parking lot to Winfrey Point. The shuttles will run from 5:00-9:00pm. Or have a driver drop you off right at Winfrey Point. However you get there, please allow extra time to get to the East side of the White Rock Lake at this time of day! There will be a bag check inside the building at Winfrey Point.

The 5K course starts at at 6:30pm at Winfrey Point and runs along the East Lawther, past the Stone Tables and turns around and goes back the same way.
The 10K course starts at 6:10pm at Winfrey Point, runs along East Lawther under the Mockingbird bridge and turns around and comes back on the newly finished White Rock Trail.
