Event Description
Join us for the inaugural Stride n’ Thrive 5K on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in Denton, Texas, as we celebrate National Health Center Week.
Whether you’re running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, this event is all about bringing our community together in support of better health for all. Proceeds from the race benefit Health Services of North Texas (HSNT), helping provide quality, compassionate care to thousands of individuals and families across our region.
Expect a fun, welcoming atmosphere with a Race Village, community partners, and opportunities to connect, learn, and celebrate. All fitness levels are encouraged.

A Scenic Community Run Through North Lakes Park
The Stride n’ Thrive 5K course takes participants through one of Denton’s beloved park spaces featuring tree-lined trails, open green spaces, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere for runners and walkers of all experience levels.

Packet Pick Up Schedule
Packet pickup dates and locations will be announced soon.
Participants are encouraged to pick up packets prior to race day to help ensure a smooth event experience.
Group packet pickup options will also be available for teams, sponsors, and organizations participating together.
Race Day Schedule
7:00 AM – Event Village Opens
Check-in, vendors, music, sponsor booths, and community activities begin.
8:00 AM – Stride n’ Thrive 5K Begins
Runners and walkers take off from the starting line.
8:30 AM - Stride n' Thrive 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk Begins
Runners and walkers take off from the starting line.
9:00 AM – Post-Race Celebration
Refreshments, music, photo opportunities, and community festivities begin.
9:30 AM – Awards Ceremony
Recognition for top finishers and participating teams.
11:00 AM – Event Concludes

Stride n’ Thrive is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help with race day operations, packet pickup, hydration stations, community activities, and participant support.
Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals, schools, businesses, and community groups.
