Jim Omohundro Courage Memorial Sundown Rundown 5k Run & 1 mile walk

This years race will be at the Eastside Sports Complex, a great opportunity to run in a night time road race!!!!!

ONLINE REGISTRATION ends at 10PM on 7/17/24, LATE REGISTRATION will be at the starting line on 7/19/24 beginning at 6:00pm, cost is $25. Late registration cost is $30 and we can accept cash, credit, or check.  This is a summer NIGHT road race held at the Eastside Sports Complex.  This is the 9th year of our road race which will be chip timed. Perfect to get out of the El Paso heat with this summer NIGHT race!!! Very nice awards, in fact you will not find better medals at any other El Paso race!!!!  Nice large medals to the top 3 finishers in each age division. Age divisions are 10-Under, 11-13, 14-15, 16-19, 20-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-Over  T- Shirts to the first 300 Registered runners!!!  Nice UNDERARMER  DRY-FIT shirts!!!! for the 1st 300 registered runners.  If you would like to pick your race packet up early you can pick it up from noon to 5pm on Thursday July 18th at 9908 Trinidad, or you can pick to up on Friday at the race.  RACE WILL START AT 8:00PM  

ALL RACERS WILL RECEIVE A VERY NICE PARTICIPANT MEDAL!!!!!!!!!!! 

This race is a memorial race sponsored by the Omohundro Family.  Jim Omohundro is a former El Paso Police officer who passed away young due to complications from injuries he sustained while on duty.  The run is meant to honor Jim Omohundro life, and legacy while also benefiting youth in the area.
