2024 Nighttime Jingle Bell Run

Join us December 7, 2024 as the stars come out for the most epic nighttime Christmas athletic event. Midland Athletic Company is excited to continue its partnership with Junior Achievement of the Permian Basin to bring Midland its largest and most festive 5k.

Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students in grades K-12 about entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs. JA’s programs help prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace. Date: December 7, 2024

Race Day Schedule:

✨ Packet Pick Up 4:45- 5:45pm 
✨ 1.5k mile begins at 5:45pm 
✨ 5k begins at 6:10pm 

Location:

Scharbauer Elementary School, 2115 Hereford Blvd., Midland, 79707

Route:

The 5k and 1.5k course begin at Scharbauer Elementary and wind through Grasslands Estates West where the best of Midland's Christmas lights are on display. 

Race Perks: 

Registration for 5k includes: Custom Finisher Medal, Custom Race Bib, Premium Swag provided by generous sponsors, post-race refreshments, and more!

Registration for the 1.5k includes: Custom Finisher Medal, Custom Race Bib, Urban Air Ticket, post-race refreshments, and more!

Hydration:

Water at the Start/finish area! In addition, there will be (2) aid stations on the course (1) at the 2-mile point in the 5K and (1) at the turn around point for the 1.5k.

Volunteer Information: 

We cannot throw these races without you! Volunteering provides an opportunity to serve participants at aid stations, on the course with directions, with post-race food and drinks, etc. Need community service hours? We are happy to accommodate you!

*Strollers & Dogs: Strollers and leashed dogs are happily allowed. We ask that you start in the back of the start line corral. Local leash laws apply.
