You will feel right at home at this family-friendly event. it is a race you will enjoy with a fun course at a great location. This is a fantastic venue for all levels of athletes, whether you are a beginner or have completed numerous triathlons. For the intermediate and elite, it is a great opportunity to set a new PR.
In 2019, athletes will have a choice of sprint or olympic distance triathlon, sprint aquabike, or can choose to participate in an olympic-distance relay.
Sprint distances - the swim is a 500-meter loop, the ride is on county roads for a 13-mile bike ride with enough low rollers to keep it interesting. Racers will finish up with a 3-mile run around the lake on a flat crushed granite trail with water stops along the way.
Olympic events consist of two laps of each triathlon segment.
We are very excited to have the Austin Tri Cyclist team managing the bike course again in 2019, and having the Austin Triathlon Club working the run course.
