COURSE
5K Course
The 5K course starts at the downtown Woodstock trail head. The course goes .60 of a mile out and will turn left onto the boardwalk leading to Woofstock dog park. Just before the the entrance to the dog park the paved trail will turn right. Follow the paved trail out to the 1.55 mile mark at which point you will turn and head back to the start. The finish will be just before where you started. Please see the pictures and Map below .. know the course before you go out to run. All turns will have Audible turn and turn around directions with the RaceJoy app and will inform you if you are off course
5 Miler Course
The 5 miler will start at the Noonday Creek trail head in downtown Woodstock. The course follows the paved path and stays straight to the Hwy 92 Trail head. Turn around point at the Hwy 92 trail head ( 1.47 miles) head back . When you get to 2.31 miles you will turn right on to the boardwalk going to Town Lake Pass and Woofstock. This boardwalk will go up and over. Just before the Woofstock Dog park you will turn right on to the paved trail. You will follow this paved trail until you get to the turn around point at 3.36 miles. Turn and head back to the main trail making the left turn at the dog park back on to the board walk for a short junction back to the main trail. Turn right at the bottom of the boardwalk towards Downtown Woodstock and you will have a short .60 to the finish. Please note all turns and turnarounds will have audible Turning instructions before each turn so it is important to use RaceJoy with the volume up if you are not sure of the course.
