Is the race rain or shine?
Yes, the event is scheduled to take place rain or shine. Rain alone will not cancel the event.
The safety of our runners, volunteers, spectators, and staff is our highest priority. Event organizers will monitor conditions closely and reserve the right to delay, modify, or cancel the event if severe weather or unsafe course conditions arise, including lightning, high winds, flooding, or other hazards.
Because weather conditions can change quickly, a decision may be made at any time. Updates will be shared by email and posted on our website as soon as possible.
Please check the forecast before leaving home and dress appropriately. Unless you receive an official notice from the event organizers, please plan for the Beach 5K to proceed as scheduled!
