The race takes place in Port Arthur, TX. The course follows the scenic Seawall and historic Lake Shore Drive.
The race finishes at Woodrow Wilson Early College High School, located at 1500 Lakeshore Dr, Port Arthur, TX 77640.
The Kids K starts at 7:15 am the 5k starts at 7:30 am
Yes. All participants must cross the finish line by 8:30 AM. This requires a minimum pace of approximately 19 minutes per mile. This is walker friendly.

Yes, walkers are welcome as long as they maintain the 19-minute-per-mile pace to meet the 8:30 AM course closure.

Entry fees are non-refundable. If the live event is canceled due to weather, participants will be moved to the Virtual Race option. No exceptions. Race insurance is available during registration.

Yes, all finishers will receive a custom Big Pumpkin Run medal.
The Kids K is not timed only first overall boy and first overall girl will receive an award. All Kids K finishers will get a finishers medal.
Yes. Age group awards are provided for the 5K. For the Kids K, only the first overall boy and girl are awarded.

Parents may run along with their child during the Kids K without need of a bib but please be aware of other children as we get kids as young as 2 running it. Kids K is reserved for kids 12 and under. Adults will not be permitted to get a medal at the end.

A Local Tradition: Since 2022, we’ve been the premier 5K in the Orange and now bringing it to Port Arthur area, bringing the community together for fitness, fun, and fall vibes.
Parking is available in the main lot at Woodrow Wilson Early College High School. We recommend arriving at least 45–60 minutes before the Kids K starts to ensure you find a spot and have time to warm up!
We run rain or shine! The only reason we would delay or cancel is in the event of lightning or unsafe weather conditions. Follow our Facebook page for real-time race morning updates. No refunds for weather cancellation.
Yes! You can transfer your bib to another runner through your RunSignup profile up to 7 days before the race. A small transfer fee may apply. Will need persons email and name to get process done. Must contact admin@3brosrunning.com

Results are live! You can see your preliminary time as soon as you cross the finish line by scanning the QR code on your bib or visiting the RunSignup results page.
We do not typically mail swag for the in-person event, but you can have a friend pick up your packet for you during the scheduled pickup times but you need to be switched to virtual. Virtual runners are not allowed on the race day course. You must inform race directors of your switch to virtual 7 days before the race admin@3brosrunning.com
