What's with the Rocks?
In lieu of traditional medals, we thought it would be neat to give each finisher a little piece of our community to share with theirs.
We have a tradition in Brighton Heights of painting rocks and squirelling them throughout the neighborhood for anyone to find. When you find a rock, it's customary to move it -- a few feet down the way, a block, or even bring it home and share it with your mantle tchotchkes. Each rock is hand-painted by our friends and neighbors, and with a little bit of imagination you will soon come to realize that each rock tells it's own story.
We just think it's neat. And we hope you will, too.
