Race Day

The big day!
THE COURSE
Runners will run along paved and trailed paths through the beautiful Eastern Promenade. This course is marked with arrows, cones and other signage. Simply follow the signs and you won’t get lost.
We will have a water station at the 1.5-mile mark. We will also have water available before and after the race at packet pick-up.
CORRAL START
You were separated into corrals during registration. We base this on expected race paces to keep everything organized and running smoothly (pun intended). It is important to stick to your correct corral. If you cannot remember your corral assignment, you can check the sticker on the front of your bib or log in to your RunSignUp account.
All participants will be lined up at the start line by 10am. Simply look for the tall teardrop banners that read 'Corral A', 'Corral B', and so on. Line up behind your corral leader near the start area.
Right at 10am, we will release Corral A. As each one clears, we'll slowly move the next corral forward into the gates. We will be sending a corral off every few minutes. Once the final corral is sent, the start line will close and you will not be permitted onto the course.
PARKING
There is street parking available near Urban Farm Fermentory. There is also a Park and Ride lot at the intersection of Marginal Way and Diamond Street.
We encourage you to take an Uber for a safe ride to and from the event if you plan on drinking.
HUNGRY APPLE
For those of you participating in the Hungry Apple challenge, be sure to stop at each station (located at every mile marker) to get your delicious donut! Simply look for the Hungry Apple banner. Please be courteous to other runners and step off the course while receiving your treat so others doing the regular 5K can easily run by.
We will have water at the Hungry Apple stations for washing down the donuts. This water is reserved for those participating in the Hungry Apple challenge. We have extra water available for everyone at packet pick-up, at the finish line and at the water station located approximately halfway through the course.
