Participant Guide

WELCOME TO THE HARD CIDER RUN!
We’re so glad you could join us! Please read through all the Participant Guide tabs to ensure you have an AMAZING time.
QUICK TIPS & REMINDERS
-The event will be held at Urban Farm Fermentory (200 Anderson St, Portland, ME 04101). The race route begins directly behind the cidery on the Bayside Trail.
-There are two areas where stairs must be navigated. The first is near the .3 mark while the second is near the halfway mark.
-While there isn’t a parking lot for participants, there is street parking available as well as a park and ride lot a couple blocks away. We would advise you to carpool or take a cab/Uber to the race!
-All participants need to be lined up at the start line by 10am. We will be sending off Corral A at exactly 10am with other corrals leaving every few minutes after. We expect all corrals to be on the course by 10:10AM. Please note that you will not be able to start once the last corral begins.
-The number one question we receive is 'When should we arrive?' We advise arriving 1 hour prior to race start in order to avoid lines. The closer to race time you arrive, the likelihood of lines for parking, restrooms, etc. increases. If you wait until 9:30AM to arrive, expect heavy traffic and longer lines at the restrooms.
