Who Benefits
100% of the Wimpy Mile Run net proceeds are donated to a wide variety of local charities through our IRS Sec. 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, Dahlonega Sunrise Rotary Club Foundation, Inc. A few of these charities are: Community Helping Place, ConnectAbility, D.A.R.E, Dahlonega Veterans Memorial Markers, Enotah CASA, Jeremiah's Place, Lumpkin County Family Connection, Lumpkin Literacy Coalition, LCHS and LCMS Scholarships & outstanding student awards, NOA-No One Alone, Rainbow Children's Home, and TLC Humane Society.
