Parking
You MUST be inside the Mohawk Park gates and parked by 8:20 am. The gates close at this time for the safety of the runners. No exceptions and no refunds will be given due to late arrival. Gates will re-open at 10 a.m.
Please allow at least 20 extra minutes to your normal drive time for race day traffic.
There are two ways to access the main zoo parking lot on race day:
- Off 36th Street North through Mohawk Park main entrance
- Alternate zoo entrance - Turn on North Winston Avenue which is just west of Yale Avenue off of East 36th Street North. Winston Avenue merges with Mohawk Boulevard. Follow Mohawk Boulevard around the golf course directly into the zoo parking lot. Sheridan experiences the most traffic; East 36th Street North also can be accessed via Harvard and Yale avenues.
If you need to leave the parking lot before the main gates to Mohawk Park re-open, please utilize the alternate entrance route and park at the west end of the main zoo parking lot. Once the races have started, you will be able to exit out this way.
