What’s the date for Diploma Dash:  
February 24, 2024 

What time does the race start:  
The race festival starts at 7 a.m. and the race kicks off at 8 a.m.

How will the race be timed and where can I see my results? 
The race is timed through Chuck Score Timing. On the back of your bib there’s a chip that starts your race and ends your race as you cross the finish line. Times will be posted live as you cross the finish line. You can also see the time results on ChuckScore.com after the race. 

Is there food or refreshments?  
Yes! All complimentary. We have plenty of snacks, fruit, water, coffee, juice, milk, and we even serve sausage wraps as a hot meal. 

Will there be water stations along the route? 
Yes. There’s 2 water stops. The first is halfway through the race and the second at the 2.5-mile marker. We even have doggy bowls ready for our furry friends. 

What are the rules for the beer stop? 
Before racing you’ll need to stop at the festival bar and show the bartenders your ID proving you’re 21+. They’ll give you a wristband to get your drink at the beer stop. 

Where to park?  
Parking is free and you can park right out front of the Convocation Center. UTSA has 1 address for all of the campus so you can search UTSA Convocation Center on your phone, and it will route you straight to where you need to go. 

How much is it to race?  
Early Bird Special through January 8 
$40 Diploma Dash 5K 
$35 Diploma Dash 5K (Alumni Association Members)

Is the race refundable?
No, there will be no refunds for this event.

How do I set up a team? 
Sign up on our portal and you’ll be prompted to make a team 

When is the packet pickup? 
Packet pick-up is on February 22 and 23. You’ll be able to get your goodie bag, t-shirt and bib number. 

Where does the race start? Where does the race end? 
The race starts and ends in front of the convocation center. The race is a complete loop around campus. 

How do I know if I am registered already? 
You should have an account with RunSignUp. When you sign in you can see your upcoming races at the landing page when you login to the website. Be sure to check the year! (If they need further help you can login as an administrator and look up a runner by going into the “Participants” tab. 

Can children participate? Are there any age restrictions for participants? 
No age restrictions. Children under 2 years old are free. Ages 3- 13 are $10. Ages 4-17 are $20 

Are there any post-race celebrations or activities? 
Yes we will have an award ceremony and our race camp will be open until 10 a.m. 

Will there be vendors or booths at the event? 
There will be plenty of vendors of all sorts. Come for some free coffee, a free beer, and be sure to get some cool swag. 

The shirt does not fit, can I get a different size? 
Yes. At packet pick-up you can request a different size. We do give shirts out on a first come, first served basis. 

I registered, but I can’t run, is it possible to get a refund? 
Yes we can refund you. We just need your First, Last and an email address. Your refund will be processed through our website and you should see a refund within 3-5 days. 

Can I register for the race on the day of? 
Yes. Be aware that the Race Day rate is at $50 instead. Be sure to take advantage of our great rates before race day. 

Can I have my pet run with me? 
Yes. We have a dog fun run for our furry friends at $10. They’ll get their own race day treats, and have their own competitive race. 

Is there dog food, water, and treats on the course for pets? 
Yes. We have water bowls around the mile and a half mark and the two mile mark. The race camp also has water available. 

Can I run with a stroller? 
Yes! The more the merrier! 

Can I pick someone else's packet? 
Yes. You’ll need to bring their confirmation page via print or screenshot. 

What if I forget my bib number? 
No problem. Just provide us with your first and last name and we can search it for you. 

What are the contingency plans for bad weather? 
In the case of inclement weather snow, sleet, freezing rain, slick roads, weather below 18 degrees we would consider late starts until the weather conditions have turned for the better.

Is there going to be a virtual run?  
Yes! If you go to our landing page (RunSignUp) you’ll find our “For The Virtual Long Run” option. We send our virtual roadrunners and sleep-in supporters their goodie bags as well. 

Are there restroom facilities along the route? 
The only restrooms available will be at the race camp. 

Will there be medical assistance available during the event? 
Yes, we have emergency services available. 

Are headphones allowed during the race? 
Yes. 

Can I run with a selfie stick or other accessories? 
Yes. 

Can friends and family attend as spectators? 
Yes. They can park along the race route or cheer from our race festival. 

Will there be official event photographers? 
Yes. You can see your photos online and even search your bib number
