THE 9TH ANNUAL HAVEN 8K RUN and 4K WALK FOR HOME starts and finishes on the Charlottesville Downtown Mall and winds through historic and scenic downtown neighborhoods. THE HAVEN 8K is traditionally thought of as a warm up race for the Charlottesville 10 Miler and is part of the C-VILLE-athon Race Series. All race proceeds benefit THE HAVEN in downtown Charlottesville. THE HAVEN is a safe and welcoming day shelter for people currently experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Serving over 85 people daily, The Haven provides respite for the weary and transformation for the ready. Until there's a place to call home, there's THE HAVEN.
