Description

The Richmond Road Runners Club is featuring the Carytown 10k this spring being run at Pocahontas State Park.  A virtual option is available as well.

The Carytown 10k @ Pocahontas State Park will be an in-person race on Sunday, May 2nd. Participation is capped at 225 runners. We'll use staggered starts with 20 runners in each corral: corrals will start at 2-minute intervals. Corral 1 will start at 8:00 AM. Corral 1 is restricted to runners with an estimated finish time of under 37:00 minutes for this 10k TRAIL race. All other corrals are open for selection by anyone.

Please review our COVID-19 Procedures & Precautions.

The Virtual Carytown 10k will allow you to run when, where, and with whom you please Saturday, April 24th through Monday, May 3rd. You'll get instructions on posting your finish time before race days.

Both events are RRRC Grand Prix (GP) events for 2021. RRRC GP participants receive a race point for posting a time for either event. RRRC GP participants in the in-person race will receive place points based on overall and/or age group finish times.

NOTE: Details provided below about packet pick up and race day activities are tentative and subject to change. Registered participants will receive updated information the days before the race.
