Event Description
The race is an annual event for the residents of the Potomac Shores development community and their friends and guests. It is free of charge. Expenses are paid for by the HOA and the event is organized by the HOA's Trails Committee. The race consists of two simultaneous courses--a 5K course and a 10K course. They start on the same route but then split off at about the 2-mile mark. The courses are both primarily on the community's wooded trail network.
5K and 10K Awards
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for:
- boys (14 and under)
- girls (14 and under)
- men (15-54)
- women (15-54)
- senior men (55 and older)
- senior women (55 and older)
Race Day Information
8:30am - Check-In/Bib and T-shirt Pick Up begins
9:15am - Race Start
Parking is available on the side streets near Central Park.
